Auditions

Join the Healing Rooms Apostolic Center’s worship and prayer leadership team for training and auditions on Thursday, 7.27 @ 6pm.

Thank you for your interest in auditioning for our worship ministry! We have a lot of opportunities for worship leaders, musicians, singers, and those interested in praying the word, to get involved with us throughout the week here at the Healing Rooms Apostolic Center (HRAC). Just between Healing Rooms meetings and the House of Prayer, there are opportunities to get involved with live worship throughout the week. There’s also our young adult ministry, PULSE, meeting on selected Friday nights.

We know auditioning can be stressful so we want to make it easy for you to prepare by making it simple, and letting you know ahead of time what to expect:

Worship Leaders
Choose from one of the three songs listed below (click on song to download). If you play an instrument, we’ll want you to play and sing through the song. Then, using all or part of the chorus progression, also plan to sing from the passage of Scripture provided below. We’ll have a keyboard and guitar available but feel free to bring your own guitar if you prefer.

Musicians
We have a keyboard and bass & guitar amp set-ups available, but bring your own instruments. Please learn one of the songs listed below (click on song to download), preferably the original artist’s or most popular recorded version. You will play with a worship team that will be at the audition, or one of our worship leaders.

Singers
Select one of the provided songs listed below (click on song to download). Be prepared to sing through the song accompanied by either a keyboard player or guitarist. It’ll be helpful if you know what key you’d prefer to sing the song in, but we can help you work that out if needed. Also be prepared to sing through the passage of Scripture after you’ve sung the worship song.

Praying the Word
There will be a breakout session for those interested in praying the word in a House of Prayer set.

That’s it! Song sheets are below and can be downloaded (click on song to download). We strongly recommend you learn the song you select well ahead of time. It’s a good idea to practice singing the Scripture passage, too.
