Application

To start an application, use the Apply link. Fill out the questionnaire completely & email a digital photo of yourself to us with “Your Name – Your Internship Session” as the Subject (Ex: John Smith – Summer Ignite Internship 2020).

References

After submitting the application, an online form is emailed to your reference(s) that you provided. If there was not an email provided on the application, it will be your responsibility to make sure they get the link. We recommend keeping in touch with your references to see how it’s going!

Your Interview

After your references have been returned, we will schedule a FaceTime/Skype interview with you. Expect to have up to 45 minutes available for the interview. After your interview, we aim to have the application decision within two to four weeks.

Deposit

A non-refundable, non transferable $100 deposit is due within 30 days of your acceptance email, or immediately if you are accepted within 30 days of the internship start date. Your deposit counts towards your tuition costs for the year and secures your place in school.

Payment

Investment is $995. Once you have received your acceptance letter, you can mail a check to us at 3010 Skyway Dr Unit C, Santa Maria, CA 93455. You can pay in person at the healing rooms with cash, card, or check. We do offer payment plans if needed.

Host Homes

Ignite Internship has limited host home placements available on a first come, first serve basis. If you are in need of housing, make sure you mark it on the application & it will be discussed with you further during the interview.

Ignite Internship at the Healing Rooms

FAQ

Are meals included?

We will do a few team meals together during the 10 weeks but all meals outside of those team meals will be your responsibility.

Are there any required books?

You will have one required book to read outside of the Bible.

How old do I have to be to apply?

Students must be 18 years or older. Exceptions are made periodically.

Is daycare provided during the Internship?

Children are not allowed in Ignite Classes and the Healing Rooms does not provide daycare. However, there are local resources such as daycare centers and private providers in the area.

Are any conferences or events included?

There will be a handful of weekend trainings, conferences & fun outings during the internship. Those will be detailed to you during orientation week. Any costs associated with these events will be covered within your tuition costs.

Is there a job position available to interns upon the completion of the internship?

No, this is not a job placement internship. Our main focus is to go deeper in intimacy & identity with the Lord, to grow in prophetic & healing ministry & to prepare you to minister more effectively in your church & in the marketplace!

What if I didn’t reserve a host home before it was full or what if i wasn't accepted into a host home?

If host homes fill up, we recommend finding a long term rental through VRBO or Air B n B. If you would like to pool together with another student(s), feel free to contact us & we can connect you with other interns looking for housing.

Can I have a job during the internship?

We don’t recommend it because we want our interns to get the most out of their 10 weeks with us, with their main focus being Jesus. But if you must, we recommend a very flexible job that can be done on the weekends and/or evenings.
