Today Fear is working on the minds and hearts of men and women as never before. One of Fear’s main objectives is to control mankind. This is one of the strong ways in which satan controls people. There are many different reasons why people have Fear. The uncertainty of world events is a source of Fear.
In Daniel 2:21a, God changes times and seasons; He sets up kings and deposes them. God has control of nations, governments and the times and the seasons. When we believe this, we have peace in our heart no matter what is happening on the world stage. Jesus died for all of mankind. He will have an inheritance in every nation. Whether the nation is a sheep nation or a goat nation. A goal of Fear is to rob  us of our future, holding us back from reaching our full potential, and keeping us from using our talents and being who God created us to be. Fear is bondage and uses chains of restraint.
People are held in captivity by Fear. Fear is increasing in the world. The bible says in the last days, men’s hearts will stop because of Fear.
DIFFERENT TYPES OF FEAR
There are several types of Fear:
1. Natural Fear
Thank God for this Fear. Natural fear brings protection to us when we use common sense and listen for our own body’s protection.
2. Religious Fear
This Fear brings bondage to people as they observe traditions, worship images, icons and keep men’s precepts. In Is 29:13, The Lord says, “These people come near me with their mouth and honor me with lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is made up of only rules taught by man.”
3. Demonic Fear
Demonic Fear torments and enslaves.
2Tim 1:7 – For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and self discipline.
1Jn 4:18 – There is no fear in Love. Perfect Love drives out fear, because Fear has to do with punishment.
The one who Fears is not made perfect in Love.
4. Fear of Man
The fear of man is a spirit that seeks to control.
Prov 29:25 –  The Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord will be kept safe.
Ps 56:11 – In God will I trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
The word of God is very clear we are NOT to Fear man. If we do, we bring ourselves into a snare and are entrapped.

WHAT GOD SAYS ABOUT FEAR

DO NOT FEAR!
  • Ps 23:4 –  I will fear No evil.
  • Is 35:4a – Say to those with fearful hearts, be strong and do not fear, your God will come.
  • Is 41:10 – So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
  • Is 41:13 –  For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
We are are encourged in many scriptures not to fear evil, demonic powers, man or the enemy of our soul. Fearing evil gives strength to darkness. Faith gives Power to God to move on our behalf. Fear gives power for darkness to move in our lives. When we do not fear the evil one or his schemes of darkness, his power against us is dismantled. Fear strengthens darkness like Faith strengthens God in our lives.

The highlights from reading these scriptures on The Fear of the Lord is Amazing!
FEARING the Lord will cause Gods Eyes to be upon us. Our days on earth will be lengthened. We will be delivered from death and not die during famine. A fountain of Life shall be opened to us, turning us away from death. We shall lack nothing. Our children will have a secure refuge. When we say YES to wanting to Fear The Lord, He will come and teach us how to walk in His Fear. Wisdom and knowledge will be opened and shown to us. He will hear us when we cry and He will give us the desires of our heart.
A major key for the people of God to walk in the fullness of God’s Goodness is to Fear Him
Is 33:6 – He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge, The Fear of The Lord is the KEY to this treasure.
The Fear that the enemy uses is the exact opposite of The Fear of God. Where one Fear seeks to control and destory, The Fear of The Lord liberates, and promotes LIFE and God’s very own Goodness in our lives. The Fear of the Lord is transforming and is of great value to those who seek to walk in it. Asking for revelation and instruction in The Fear of The Lord is good. God will hear and answer.
