A garden, sweet fellowship with His friends.
The LORD God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden; and there He placed the man whom He had formed. Genesis 2:8
Another garden, another time, another “Adam”. Do you think the Father had this garden of Gethsemane in His mind as He placed the first Adam in Eden?
I can imagine as Adam is being formed, God’s heart breaking over what would happen in these two gardens. And yet…it’s all in His plan.
The pain, the betrayal, the restoration and the future glory. God YOU are GOOD. Through it all, it is well with my soul.
Help us to see from Heaven’s viewpoint.
