“That they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us…” John 17:21
Perfect unity! Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity. Psalm 133 tells us the LORD commands a blessing—life forevermore.
This whole conversation in John 17 makes me pause and try to begin to grasp what is going on here. Each sentence is almost overwhelming to me.
Jesus wants us to be one with Him and the Father. What? Why? Huh?
I think I could ponder this every day for a whole year and not really get it.
Father You are amazing, and I ask for this prayer of Jesus’s to be answered in me. Take me deeper!
