“In addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.” Ephesians 6:16

Fatih is a shield which protects from the onslaught of the evil one. How many times did Jesus encourage us to “only believe”? In the Old Testament a “shield” was often us as a metaphor to describe God’s power and protection of His people. Faith being this shield is a weapon. The devil is always making plans against us, but we are not left defenseless. God has given us weapons and armor for escape and for protection.

There are flaming arrows being shot at us right now in many different forms, sickness, relationship issues, finances, don’t fall for it. Only Believe and stand firm and watch God come through in victory.

God, thank You for this shield of faith; right now, I raise it against any flaming arrow which I believe You will extinguish. Amen!
