The Shield

Cover—Protect—Defend

Our intercessory team’s vision is to contend in prayer for the Healing Rooms Apostolic Center to always be a place where people encounter the love of God; that His glorious presence ever increases, permeating the atmosphere in a strong, tangible way evidenced by great signs, wonders, miracles and healing.

Led by our Head Intercessor Sherie Vest, the team’s mission in this season is to call the body of Christ to awaken, becoming fully attentive to God’s presence, hearing what He is saying in this hour and to answer His call to stand ready in the day of battle as we maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. (Isaiah 21:5; Ephesians 4:3-4)

Sherie’s rich history as an intercessor spans more than a decade of serving before the Lord as a church and community prayer leader, participation in Watch of the Lord and a Prayer Pastor for two churches. Sherie’s served at the Healing Rooms Apostolic Center for the last ten years. A major part of her assignment includes her call to intercede for the purposes of God to be released upon the earth and a commitment to pray for Rick and Lori Taylor, North America Divisional Directors of the Healing Rooms North America and here at the HRAC.

Her heart is to see God’s Kingdom come to earth ‘as it is in heaven’, and for God’s glory to come in great power. Happily married for 41 years, Sherie and her husband James have two grown children and currently reside in the Santa Ynez Valley.

The Hand of God

The Hand of God

The Hand of God is spoken of a lot in the Bible. Reference is frequently to the Right Hand of the Lord. Thinking about the HAND of GOD is worth time.

The Good Shepherd
